Hi, I was born in South Africa, and lived there until I was 12. I moved to England and left when I was 19 to travel. I ended up staying in the USA, as my hubby wouldn't let me go. I am a stay at home mommy to 2 beautiful girls, 5 1/2yrs and 2 yrs. I love the water. It wasn't until playing Endless Oceon on the Wii that Scuba diving even came to my thoughts. I love it, am still new enough to be terrified by it, but can't wait to dive my next dive.
I look forward to getting out of my little clam shell and enjoying more diving.

Certified at Blue Grotto, Ocala Fl, with Kim form Adventure Scuba in Titusviile, Fl. Kim is the best. She is confident, knows all the answers to your questions (believe me I ask a lot) she knows when to push you and when to give you room to figure it out. She comforts you when you need the assurance. If you want to be certified by someone who has been there, done it and seen it, Kim is your instructor. Thanks Kim.
Since we (hubby and I) were certified, we have only dove twice, both times LBTS, as it is relatively inexpensive.
Next dive will be Blue Heron Bridge, and then finally I might have the guts to do a boat dive with Adventure Scuba.

Just bought a reg and octo. Oceanic. Will see how they perform. I have a scubapro wetsuit. Mask and snorkel are Genesis, and fins are... can't remember, but they work fine. I had issues last dive with the mask, kept pushing my nose up, tried clearing a bunch, maybe it wasn't tight enough??? Just bought an Aeris dive computer (thanks Mum and Dad!)
