  1. You can do it without it but it is a real pain in the rear. You must stack all the internal parts, press them in with your finger and at the same time use lock ring pliers to hold the snap ring closed as you push it all down. I have done it without the tool but it is a lot easier with one...and saves the stuff being shot across the room when it slips...been there/done that too many times.
    I am now custom making the tools and currently have one on ebay. Here is what they look like. US Divers/ Aqualung High Pressure stage assembly tool - eBay (item 110572628877 end time Aug-19-10 10:22:27 PDT) I plan to keep them on ebay for a while so if this one goes there will be another one soon.
  2. I came across a one of your post in regards of servicing your own titan/ conshelf. That's exactly what I'm working on and have the old conshelf as training device. Anyhow you mentioned the HP tool that you need. Is this the bench press type tool? any advice how to compensate for this or build one?
