    Hi Yawzer,

    Thanks for the questions.

There is a large difference between having goods manufactured in China, and having goods manufactured in your own factory in China. Our Facility, HIL (Hollis Industries) is located in Wuxi, China and uses materials and fabrics of USA origin on all of our BC's. We are an ISO9001 company and use a quality assurance system second to none; which is controlled by us. This compared to having china manufacture your products without control over the materials or workplace is very different.

Our guarantee is that the equipment purchased will be free of defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. We also offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee so if you are, for whatever reason, unsatisfied with your purchase you may return it at no charge. For more detailed warranty or product info on Hollis products please visit our website at www.hollisgear.com.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

I'm a scuba instructor from Singapore. I've been researching on the new Hollis BCDs and one of the local dive center owner tells me Hollis manufactures their BCD in China.

This statement makes me nervous, among many others. China is definitely one of the cheapest place these days for manufacturing. There are still some products made in China that are not sub-standard.

So, is this true that the new Hollis BCDs are made in China? If so, what are the quality assurance on that.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Thanks!

    Yawzer
