My wife is doing her pool work tonight. We are looking to build a group of divers here in the local area for "1 tank trips" It's always more fun if you have a fun group with you. We are going to weeki wachi for her "first dive" (shhhh dont tell JoAnn) this Sat then off to Boynton the following weekend. Let me know if you wanna go on any of these. My buddy Chris from Tampa will be joining us on the trip to the other coast.
That's great. I love Venice Beach, even in low vis. We spent the weekend in Crystal River taking a course to become certified to work with disabled divers. It was a lot of fun, but completely exhausting. We had to simulate being blind, paraplegic, and quadraplegic divers in the pool AND in open water. Very un-nerving at some points. And do you how hard it is to ascend from a depth of 30 feet using only your arms???? No fins and my legs were tied together. Felt like it took forever. But I will be a better diver because of it.
JoAnn said she certified your wife and daughter? That's great. Lots of fun dive vacations in your future!
Hey there - I was at the Highlander Pool with you and Joann when you first got started. Glad to hear you have stayed with diving after this terrible incident. Hope to see you in the water soon!
