Hi, we've been using ikelite housing for Nikon D300 and Nikon D90. So far, everything has been okay.

We notice that our housing buttons are not very smooth so we decided to buy the spare part yesterday from ikelite distributor here in Singapore. We had tips about how to clean up the buttons and replace the spare parts. They suggested us to use alcohol.

doing the clean up we notice what seems like cracks in the housings. Along the edge and basically all the buttons have the very visible cracks. Upon researching the internet, we found pieces of information here and there that alcohol should not come in contact with arcrylic.

How is this going to effect the waterproof capability of the housing?
It's very upsetting to us to get this fatal mistake from the distributor itself.
We are in contact with hin and will bring the housing later today but i don't know wht solutions do we have.

Do you have any advice or input to share?

    Thanks in advance.

I bought an Ikelite housing for Canon 7D with #5503 standard 6" dome port. I am using Tokina 10-17mm lens. Can you please let me know which other lenses can fit in this port?
