Born and raised in SoCal, which gave me a healthy love and respect for nature. Grew up hiking, climbing, surfing, snowboarding, etc. I love basketball, but have broken my nose twice. Come to think of it, I've been injured quite a number of times from sports. Maybe I should stick to sitting on my couch. ;)
I picked up scuba in 2006 and discovered that it's the thing I've been missing my whole life. It just feels...right.
Despite it being cliche, I almost do think of my time out of the water as a surface interval.
So, during my long-term surface intervals, I deal in information as a means to afford expensive gear. :)

I primarily dive in the Laguna Beach and Palos Verdes areas of SoCal. I've been fortunate enough to have dove in the Caribbean also. I really enjoy wreck diving, and am always trying to figure out how to dive or find a new one. I'm excited to dive everyday, and wish I could do it more.
