Biography:

Not a very smart thing to do but made first open water scuba dive in 1952 with no training while in USN stationed in Bahamas. Worked in marine research and submarine cable installations world-wide for more than 40 years including one research dive in submersible Aluminaut to depth of 5200 feet to bottom of Tongue of the Ocean in the Bahamas. Worked with and managed commercial divers extensively over the years. Retired to North Florida in 1989; own and manage a few private rental houses including one short term rental catering to cave divers and others.
