  1. Oh, WOW! Im sure glad I met you. Maybe we can become better friends and I can use you for boat dives! lol. Ive always been a fan of Sea-Ray. We had a similar as I was growing up and Ive always like them. But I think the Wellcraft is good for diving. When do you plan to start your captains courses? Bummer about the beach diving. Is it just you getting tired (endurance) or technique (fin stroke)?

I was at Oceans 234 for lunch and the waves were huge! The ocean was just loaded with surfers and only a few boats really pitching and bobbing in the distance. Good idea about cancelling. But, I have all my own gear I just get very tired swimming out (very out of shape but I've been working on it at the gym). The only shore dives I have done are the ones for certification and that was hard for me. We pretty much only do drift dives. We have a little boat now but were getting a new one before Thanksgiving. We have a few people that we've been talking to and it's pretty much between a 34' Wellcraft, a couple Luhrs' (36' and 38'), and a 43' Sea-ray. Whichever one we get, they all have pretty good room for diving so after I take a captain's course we could take it out with the club.

I usually don't X-out of the site but I can read the posts on here all night long. And I have a few more questions about the club. Do they dive from a boat or is that the point of the fundraising?? And how many people usually dive together? I can't do shore dives .

That's better! Thanks lol. Yes, 5 is going to be a little time consuming but I "wasted" a couple years (went to University of South Carolina first time around and my credits didn't transfer) so now I have to get on track. I don't know many people from Florida, my family just moved here about a year ago as I am living at home. But I would love to get into diving with people from school and the area. Sounds like a lot of fun. Do you do any spearfishing with the club?
