Biography:

in Mexico for 6 months doing a conservation internship with Global Vision International.... we do 3 months monitoring coral and fish in 2 locations, one inside a protected area and one in a rapidly growing port, and are then sent to various dive shops to gain experience, and our dive master qualifications, while another group starts monitoring. It has been a great experience. Rhu and I were lucky enough to be sent to a new, eco minded shop, so have learned the business from the ground up as well as have an opportunity to focus on the eco side. Ecodiving tours is currently gaining their qualifications to be able to train people in reef monitoring- the more data going towards lobbying the government for change/regulation the better.

Cenotes, shipwreck, sharks, it's been an absolute blast! Looking forward to doing Full Cave in the near future.
