I love water. Enjoy swimming, surfing, water skiing, boating, skimming stones and just looking at waves, lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. I have made 70 dives as of Feb. 20 2010. I have completed courses required and been certified in open water and rescue diving. The plan is to go through all the certifications up to and including instructor through NAUI. I live in southern California and am blessed with thousands of dive spots to explore, and activities to enjoy. Athough I have lived near the ocean for my whole life, I have never really been able to explore the underwater world until now and I am extremely deficient in underwater knowledge. I love to learn, although it is much more difficult to retain information for my 52 year old mind than it was when I was much younger. I have the rest of my life to look forward to learning and discovering! How cool is that? I probably should mention that I am happily married to Michelle for 30 years now, and we have 14 children... no, that is not a typo. No twins, none adopted, their ages range from 30 to 6 years old and there are nine girls and five boys. Four of them dive with me. Justin (25) Will (22) Merrie (20) and Jack "B" (18).
