Old enough to know better but young enough to still be making mistakes.
I am a space physicist (geo scientist) by training and an electronics engineer with special interests in communication systems and plasma physics. I work primarily as a consulting engineer and project manager in the IT area. Other interests include ancient Greek, history of science and existentialist philosophy. Of course I am also an IT/space nerd geek interested in all things technological.

Occupation:
Consulting engineering physicist, project manager and IT consultant.
Gender:
Male
Certification Agencies:
PADI SSI BSAC
Dive History:
Used to only dive in warm tropical waters of northern Australia and Fiji. Even though I am born and bred in Melbourne, Victoria only last year did I bother to dive locally; what an eye opener, I should have listened to my dive buddies years ago. Some of the best temperate (another word for cold) water diving is to be had right at my doorstep. Diving is a means to an end as I am primarily a photographer who can't get enough of it, photography that is. Already flooded and lost more cameras and equipment than I care to think about.
As an ex-Antarctic scientist/photographer expeditioner I want to return to the Antarctic someday to work and dive.
