  1. I finaly got mine back from DPV repair after four months and almost a thousand bucks it works like new. Short answer would be if the one you are looking at works and it's cheap, go have fun for a while until it breaks.

    Basicly you can't get any parts for them and it's all custom work, I even had to have the shaft seal custom made. Now that it's done, I like it alot, but spent way more than it's worth now and any break could be a major headach again. Considering I could have gotten a used Apollo or Mako for less money and grief I'd pass if I had it to do over again.

    Hi MItch

    Hey i live in hawaii and I came across a farallon MKII im just wondering if its worth rebuilding. How did your project turn out? I am also into retro scuba I dive with double hose regs . the guy that has the MKII for sale wants 200 bucks for it im shure it needs a complete rebuild. any info would be helpfull thanks john
