Hi all, I'm a retired police officer (served 32 years) and first dived with a police search and recovery team 30 years ago. Job changes etc. meant I stopped diving after a couple of years and didn't dive again until I retired in 2010. I have now taken up recreational diving as I have been working/volunteering on various conservation projects in the mediteranean since I retired so have plenty of opportunity to dive in warm water year around.
My instructor is a Russian CMAS instructor and my C Card comes from Russia (half in Russian) but I am cross training with BSAC & PADI as well now in the UK.

Dive History:
Diving 8 to 10 times a month in the Eastern Med, and a couple of cold water UK dives each month.
Mostly diving in the 15 to 35 metre range in warm water, but also trying to do night-time shore dives in the evenings after work. I want to improve my diving until it feels completely natural then concentrate on some underwater photography. I have just started some cold water winter diving in the UK.
