  1. Maybe an SPG might be a good idea? "Been working full time in the industry for awhile. If we are talking about failures during dives- AI comp are way ahead of pressure gauges. We have customers on a regular basis turning dives early because their AI lost sync and they did not know how much air they have left so they ended the dive. We see problems with synching all the time- many prove to be battery issues. I would say an average of about once a week we see problems with AI computers. With SPG's I can not remember the last time one failed during a dive, minor air spool leaks but that is not a dive ender and can be fixed in minutes once back on the boat before the next dive. Although not scientific my experience says that AI computers have quite a few more failures than SPG. I still like my brass and glass SPG."
  2. I like this! Maybe we should check it out.
  3. March 7th I start traveling to Europe/Asia for 2 weeks. 21st might be good. That is Sunday correct?
  4. March 7,14,and 21 @ west end pool??
  5. Next Monday? Provide we can get the PM 5mm this weekend.
  6. When do you want to do your weight check?
  7. Both look to be the right size gauge and the price is right. I just picked up a smaller 2in for my stage bottle. It's a Halcyon but I like the fit and finish of the Highland better. 2.5 is very easy to read in the water.

Also had a chance to really look at the new Halcyon cinch and build one. I like it very much. Easy to adjust form dry to wet. Might not need another back plate, Think I'm going to order one next month.

Lori is thinking about a BP/W so I might have to build her one first.
  8. Rash guard pic was really nice. Can you tell me how you really feel about ther Cressi gauge?? ;-) So you would just get the pressure gauge as a full time alternate?

I finally looked at Apple Aperture vs Adobe lightroom ... they are quite similar but what I read Aperture has the advantage on speed and workflow. The Aperture vs Lightroom Shootout STUART FORSYTH .com Now you need to get a camera that can take pictures in RAW and you will open your horizon as to various correction not possible on JPEG compressed files.
  9. I have to say this Aperture program is really cool. I can do so much even with this junk point and shoot. Took a few shots on Sunday and cleaned them right up.
