Flew jets for 10 years, then served the remaining 10 doing diving and other "stuff". Started Northwest Dive News in 1996. Launched Northeast Dive News in 2005, Midwest Dive News in 2007, and now Southeast Dive News in 2011. We also run the Dive and Travel Expo in Tacoma and Santa Clara.

On Friday at approximately 2:46 p.m. a large earthquake struck off the coast of Japan wreaking havoc throughout the country of Japan as well as throughout the Pacific Rim. This week I attended a Content Marketing Conference in Langley, Washington. Organized by Russell Sparkman and the Center for New Media, the two day event focused on creating awareness on how important content is in marketing web sites. The conference showed us different focuses of content strategy and how to think like a publisher in order to create valuable content that brings respect and readers.
