    Just got back from Utila. They were seeing whale sharks many days in a row. When I got there, we saw none.
    I'm not going to take it personal, because the weather, current and vis was getting worse each day due to Gustav in the Gulf.
    They thought they had a sighting on my last day of diving. We had our snorkle gear on and buns on the swim platform, just ready to jump in. The boat made a few quiet loops and then....nothing! I was going to ask all of the photographers to get their cameras in the water and start setting off the flashes. But I held back.
    Oh well, going to have to try another time!
