About Me
Hello and thanks for inquiring, I'm Ron and I am a school teacher. I enjoy many many many activities including mountain biking, volleyball (beach), skiing (water and snow), rock climbing, snowboarding, camping, cooking, scuba, snorkeling, swimming, soccer, golf, tennis, cycling, motorcycling, paint-ball, skydiving, coaching, exploring, spending quality time with my family, surfing, fishing (fresh and salt), traveling, poker, foosball, billiards, shooting (all gun types and archery), karting, and music. I went to school in Vermont and New Jersey (three different colleges) and played at the highest level of Beach volleyball and semi-pro soccer. I worked in business (prescription drugs) before becoming a teacher and coach.
Vitals
Location: I'm usually in the northeast of the U.S. Occupation: I do a bit of designing and construction as well as painting, to supplement my dive habit. Gender: Male Interests: Please see bio (many things)
Dive Profile
Certification Agencies: PADI Certification History: I learned quickly that this is super subjective in the diving world. Although I take my education very seriously, I found this "leveling" to be very inaccurate and subjective from one dive school to another. Dive History: I began diving through Scuba Connection (which I have since realized is the best instruction available, not to say there aren't others equal, but few if any better). I dove Dutch Springs PA for classes (and will continue to work on skills and certs there) and recently returned from Cozumel where I enjoyed every bit of Colombia, Palancar, and others up to Paradise. Equipment Setup: I dive Halcyon. I use Oceanic regs and a VT3 computer. I enjoy Mares Vollo Power fins. A Panview genesis mask was the best fit. Halcyon reel. Dive Rite cannister with Princeton Tech back-ups.
