Certification History:
It's not really about the badge and the agency, but what you personally get from the course and who your instructor is. Your instructor is not there to be your new best friend, but to teach you to dive safely. You may not like them, I personally hated the guts of the guy who taught my DiveMaster course. But the number of times I have silently thanked him following the course have been too numerous to count. I consider myself to be exceptionally fortunate and lucky to be trained by him. So when you are seeking training, look at who you will be trained by. An experienced knowledgeable instructor is worth their weight in gold.
