I've was born in South Florida and have lived here my entire life. As a boy, I remember seeing Jacques Cousteau's television show on TV, and that's all it took - I was hooked! I've been in and around the water boating, diving and fishing all my life.

In 1986 I became a PADI Instructor, but only taught for a few years. In the early to mid-nintys, I took up tech diving and got my TDI Open Circuit Trimix Certification and did lots of deep wreck diving along the southeast coast of Florida. In September 2007, I got my Dive Rite Optima Rebreather and have exclusively been diving that since. In 2007, I also got a small digital camera and have been obsessed with underwater photography ever since - Naturally, my camera setup has grown significantly since then!
I've dived throughout the Bahamas, I've been on 6 Cozumel dive trips, I've dove the Turks & Caicos and Martinique and I've dove most of the wrecks in south Florida.
