    We went out on the Blue Tang as you recommended. We were very happy with the service at the Scuba Works shop and aboard the boat.
    Chuck was our dive master. He went above and beyond, catching 5 lobsters and giving them (one each) to the divers! The young man assisting as First Mate was exceptionally helpful too. Captain Slater took into consideration everyone's desires to choose the best dive sites. Visibility was not so good (only about 30-35ft), but the fish life was quite abundant and varied (as good or better than anyplace we've been).
    Thank you very much for recommending the Blue Tang. We will be telling everyone how good it was.

    hi Lisa. we don't really have any boat operators here in Vero. We do have some great shore dives...but they are weather dependent for viz. Hit me up and i'll point you towards the best spots. maybe we'll join ya.

    boatwise, we tend to go to Jupiter (40 minutes south) and there are several great operators. My personal favorite is the Blue Tang (www.divebluetang.com). Awesome boat, great DMs and crew. And jupiter diving is world-class. IMO, better than the Keys. I just came back from Grand Cayman and thought our Jupiter dives had bigger sealife!

    Hello and Happy New Year!
    I'm trying to find information about boat diving in or near Vero Beach. Can you recommend a boat dive operator around there? We can drive a little if it would be better diving, but we will be staying in Vero Beach and only for the weekend of Jan. 21st. Thank you , ---Lisa
