    Hey Rex!! Sorry it took me so long too get back to you. It's been way to long since I logged into scubaboatd. I'm planning a Roatan trip in March so I stopped by for some research. As far as my DSLR, I love it. It's deffinatly better than my old compact. Way less noise is the biggest plus. as far as macro, my compact did pretty good, so not a huge diff there. But with wide angle the diff is huge. Now, when I go to the 105mm macro soon, that macro statement will change I'm sure. Feel free to email me, sideways777777@hotmail.com.     Hi Greg,

    I saw your Thailand photos with your new camera. They look great! How do you like the new camera? I'm still shooting a G9 but thinking of moving up to a DSLR, but am having a hard time justifying the money. We should go out on a boat trip sometime.
