    Hi Jendra, I look forward to diving with the Indy Dive Club again soon. As far as I know, there is no other club or group that dives localy exept for a group based down in southern Indianapolis that dives together once in a while. I was going to help teach a class when we talked the other night at MPH. I may have implied that I was going to a group fun dive, but it was a o/w class I was heading to. I used to go to the Indy Dive club events all the time until I started working the nights they had meetings. I am glad you guys had fun at the event. Talk to you soon.

    After we left the pool session we went to a local pub to have dinner and drinks. Fun was had by all. Maybe we can get the 'groups' together sometime? I am an 'outsider' no matter which group I join, but I enjoy meeting and making new dive buddies...no matter where their local dive shop may be located.

    Thanks for the reply. Waiting for my appointment with my ENT in May to get the go ahead on my cert. I will probably go to Divers' Supply Indy since it is the closest to me, any experience with them? Time is going really slow, I just want to start diving. Hopefully my ears don't keep me from it. I already put a lot of time into researching everything I can about it.

    Just wondered if you had any advice for someone wanting to get started with scuba in Indiana. Anything I should know about the local dive shops, dive locations, etc. Any info is appreciated

    I have not been diving as much as last year at this time. It seems that I have been away most weekends since Mid Feb. I am going tomorrow afternoon with some buddies { March 16}. It will be nice to get wet back in the water, got to love the cold black water of our Indiana quarries, lol. I hope you have had a chance for some fun dives as well as your work dive activities. I envy you { I think , lol} diving for a living. Must be quite a challenge. I have heard its very dangerous. I would be interested in hearing about some of your most challenging moments as a commercial diver.
