One thing Boreno nature tours are outstanding...I would go back for that...not the diving.

I would not waste my time going anywhere in Malaysia. I have spent well over 20K going to Layang layang, Sipadan and lankyan Island....fished out. Yes you can read rave reviews of Sipadan.....but where else have they dove?...go to Palau or find a new part of Indo to go to...my 2psi....Fiji was finally my deal breaker...listened to people who really get excited to see something a notch about Hawaii...it was not good diving for the places I went except for the Bligh waters and the 3 or 4 dives I had there were some of the finest diving I have done...but that was out of 35 or 40 dives!...hope this helps.

I have read quite few of your posts over the years and share your love of Indonesian diving. I also caught your criticism of the overselling of places like Fiji. Which I also share except for Bligh and Somasoma Straits. My wife feels the need to explore other venues beyond Indo. She has been pushing for Sipidan. If you have time to reply I would appreciate your review of diving Sipidan. I fear that it is another over sold destination like Fiji. Many thanks, Kneptoon

Sorry I just saw this message. I did not know vistor messages existed! I have a couple of trip reports posted....my hotels we nothing fancy....If you do some research there are a couple of good spots in Tulmben people talk about (you want something better with your wife to be) and another area that i have not dove which I hear is good is Padang Bai Beach Resort.

Hi travelnsj! I noticed you mentioned diving in Bali is pretty good. My fiance and I are planning on a dive spot for our honeymoon.... would you be able to recommend a good spot/hotel in Bali?
