Dive History
Certified and do the majority of my diving in Puget Sound. But I've been lucky enough to dive in Australia, Hawaii, the BVI, Indonesia, Cozumel and in the caves in Florida and Mexico. The caves have my heart.
I dive a Hog rig with a LP 95 for singles, and doubles are LP85s. The singles regs are Aqualung Titans, and the doubles are SP MK25/S600s. My favorite piece of equipment is my Salvo 21W HID light.
Greetings TS!
When do you find time to write?! :o))
Read a few of your first divelogs with much pleasure.
Thanks for posting them!

PS. Also pleasantly surprised to see the largest pic posted be a horse! LOL! My middle son has been hooked by that on and is an avid dressage and show jumper currently recovering from a fall in competition. My son Caleb is NOT the Caleb with the guitar, he is only shown on horseback (or on the ground) :o) Fotoalbum > Fotode otsing < caleb
Also the pictures were posted a little out of order but you'd probably figure that out!
I just want to say THANK YOU to Lynne for a great dive, and a great learning experience for my wife and myself. I'm a bit beyond the "newbie" stage, but still have a lot to learn, and as I try to help my wife get started, help from experienced divers is invaluable. But not just any experienced diver. Lynne has such a positive attitude, and such a natural, un-confrontational way to impart knowledge!
My wife and I are still at the point where we just need to get more dives in. Diving by ourselves, as we usually do, helps. But diving with you, Lynne, was as helpful as ten dives by ourselves. You really put our learning into overdrive, and it was fun! Thanks again. Sam
Thank you so much, yes...it is the consensus. I am diving this weekend and will start with 40 on my waist. And take off as needed. I just bought (gods alive) my own gear and liberated myself from my BFs equiptment. His was all DIR as mine, but i will be 2lbs lighter as i dont have a plate to hold the tank , just a steel backplate..its a new company, HOG, and i feel its a good product. I will also try and have a 6lb backplate weight with me and see if that is needed. As always, you are a great voice in my head. will let you know when i get it figured out. wendy
Hi Lynn,
I know how busy you are but....you are my queen so i thought i would see what you think.
I just got my new Whites Fusion and the first three dives were well, not fun. I could NOT sink...no air in suit, no air in BC> but i am wearing a pampers with a pad would that be a culprit? We worked out some of the issues. On the last dive I insisted on staying at a 25 Ft. platform just to not complicate matters. What we did was put a steel 130 on my back and take weight off my waist and tank. Even with that I was a turtle and feet up in the air. I only put in a touch or two of air at 25ft. just to get the squeeze off. But even with that I could not go horizontal for more than 60 sec. and then poof I would start to cork....We did this for over a Hr. so I was pooped. The advice I got is to change my fins to shorter heavier ones, use a back plate weight and move the weights I was using closer to my belly button. My BF noticed that even with all my air out of my suit i was carrying a bit of air above my chest . uhhhggg i know its a learning curve but it seems that this is overkill. any suggestions that we haven't thought of? i love love love my suit( and its not that hard to get in and out of even with the hype) but i can not dive till this is fixed. frustrated. wendy
