I run the website www.whatsthatfish.com The aim of the site is to identify fish, critters and corals by colour and features.
It is a free website where other divers etc can post their pictures onto the site and can ask for a positive id.
If the team cannot answer your question then the picture is left on the unidentified section until someone else can ! (and they usually do)
We all know the scenario when diving, see a fish, come up to the surface to ask what the fish was and all we usually remember are the colours and features! We know it doesn't mater how many books their are there is always that elusive fish or critter!
