Mazatlan diving information

We are looking at m aybe diving somewhere close to Mazatlan. We will be there two weeks and would like to dive if it is good. Any comments on quality of dive - what to see - good dive shop that can do a good job for us (we are experienced but casual divers and really appreciate a good dive master - like the ones we have had in Cozumel).

I dove last year when I was there. I had a great dive. You can e-mail the dive operator, Susan at scuba@gomanzanillo.com or call her at 011-52-314-333-3678. She is very accomodating. We went off a beach at the northern end of the place, called La Bocita (sp?) It was great and after the dive, we hung out at the beach, which looked like a postcard.
