Just wondering if anyone has dove Rocky Point in march and would be able to give me some info on the average water temps, and good dive spots. Is Bird Island any good?? Has anyone delt with Sun N' Fun?? Are they a good place?? Any info would be helpful!! Thanks!!
Dove Rocky Point about a year ago in August so I can't help you there. Shore diving is interesting but it doesn't get very deep and in some places is really rocky, so don't use full foot fins, use boots with decent soles and pocket fins.
Bird Island was the highlight. Got 2 dives in and dove with the seals out there. Much deeper than shore diving (something like 60 ft. vs. 20 ft.) and lots of octopus and stars out there.
