I am considering using them for a trip in March/ April. I am concerned about doing this online because I don't want any problems with reservations. I don't want to find out at the last minute that I "don't have reservations". What is the procedure with using Bay Adventures.
Anybody use them, or have other advise?
Thanks,
Sharkman

I have not used them. But it looks like their phone number is 888-599-DIVE (3483).
When we were just in Cozumel (a 1 1/2 weeks ago), we used Papa Hogs and they were great. This was our first ever dive trip and we told them. So the first day they sent a boat and dive master for just the two of us. Incredible service.
When we left home, we had planned to do 2 dives a day. After day 1 we were trying to figure out how to fit as many dives in each day as we could. We ended up doing 3-4 dives per day.
Quoting from an earlier post of yours: "Life is good when you have to make decisions like this."
I hope that you sincerely mean it as a glance at your activity on this Coz trip to date could leave one with the impression that it's shading over into obsessional worry. This surely would be a shame, as pleasant anticipation is such a big part of the fun of a dive vacation.
In any event, Bay Adventures has been around for a long time, and as a routine package dive travel agency they have a good record with routine Coz arrangements. The owner, James "Al" Bay, is friends with Renee "Apple" Applegate, owner of Dive Paradise, so the package that I believe you are looking into should be a piece of cake.
Relax. As I mentioned previously, Coz is a no worry trip.

Having two degrees in Psychology, I'm not sure that this falls under your diagnosis of being "obsessional worry". I am honored though that you are concerned. I just thought that part of the fun of having a computer and being online was researching to make the best possible decision. Sort of like researching cars before you buy one. If that is obsessional worry, well I will be forced to prescribe myself one vacation, in warm weather (taken with alcohol) as soon as possible, repeated as necessary. The prognosis is good.
My hubby and I used Bay Adventures both time that we have gone to Cozumel from Minneapolis. Bay Adventures was professional and thorough both times. You can call them, and they will try to fill any requests you may have i.e. we wanted a different hotel then the Costa Club and they were able to accomodate it and still give us a good price.
We liked the Continential airplane ride from Houston and were glad we didn't have to do the Cancun stop-over.
A hint we got from Bay Adventures the first time we went through: It's going to take time to get through Customs on the way back, so book the 2nd flight after you get into Houston to your home destination. Many people who have a connecting flight 40 minutes or so after they get to Houston, usually don't make it through baggage and Customs to catch their flight.
PM me if you have any further questions.
