Water temp in Bahia de las Angeles 60 F, visibility in the shallows at punta la Gringa, 20Feet.

Pending on sea slug species and images.

Windy and a bit overcast, beautiful scenery with the mountains, desert, islands and gulf of California.

One of my favorite areas to dive. Celebrated my birthday there in 2007. Have you been out to Refugio Bay at Isla Angel de la Guardia or Las Encantatas lately? So many fond memories. Thanks for posting.

As promised, here are some underwater images taken in Bahia de los Angeles last week and also during October 09 in the islands of the different natural reserves of the area.

Unfortunately we have not been diving at Angel de la Guarda this winter/fall but we have seen some really nice packs of Sperm whales in the channels.

Thanks for the pics. So beautiful and yet amazing that this area is still virtually undiscovered by most of the diving world.

Keep posting the dive conditions!
