HI Divers:
I just returned from Cozumel and Playa Del Carman.
This is not the usual, water temp, and fish sightings report.
Instead let me just say I dove with my 19 and 15 year old sons.
I have dove with maybe a hundred or so different divers over the years.
Diving with them, for me, was the best it can get.
No superlative can do it justice.
They are fearless in the water. Like no adult I have ever dove with.
While I love watching the fish play, watching my boys play, was even better.
Has anyone else ever experienced this?
Great news for vacation divers who cannot talk themselves into buying a personal CO tank tester!
>> Rent one for a week or longer here <<
Now let's see more CO readings in your trip reports, ok...??

(((shamelessly gloating mother)))
Natasha,
You are lucky! I only wish I could somehow convince my daughter that sharks are not "going to get her". She has snorkeled with me but refuses to dive However, she is more than happy to go on any dive boat, any time, and sunbathe while I dive! She and her friends were a blast to have on our last dive trip to Cabo San Lucas...
I am so glad you and your family had a wonderful vacation together!

Reason: correction
I have been able to dive Cozumel with my now 19 year old son several times. It is great to see someone else begin to really enjoy what has become my passion.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
As you can tell I enjoyed watching them watch the fish, even more then when I watch the fish.
They were pointing things out to me! Loved that.
We did see two spotted rays and the water temp was 80.
It is wonderful to share this with people you love.
