Friend is looking to dive Trout Lake/Pond which is inside Ilsand Lake/ Spring Mill Park. (The state park with all the bike trails...) Has anyone dove that or know if it is 'off limits' to swimmers/divers?
Spring Mill Pond is a very active local training spot. Only about 30 ft deep. The vis is probably ok this time of year but gets bad as the algae blooms. It's a nice beach to take your family to, if you want.
You might want to repost in the main GLWC forum - there's a lot more activity there.
