    Central WI diving

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but...
I'm heading to central WI in about two weeks, specifically to the Red Granite area, for a wedding. Of course, the dive gear is getting packed, and I am going to try to dive the Red Granite quarry. I'm looking for any information at all, from diving conditions to the closest and most reliable dive shops. Any info at all would be appreciated...
    Thanks in advance

    I just don't log dives
There are shops in Stevens Point, Appleton, and Oshkosh. If you have the time, skip Red Granite quarry and head up to Lake Wazee (Black River Falls). The visibility at Red Granite generally sucks and in good weather is used by all of the hillbilly locals as a swimming hole/bath tub. Wazee has a nice dive shop nearby (Wazee Sports) that can fill anything you might need from air to tri-mix.
How's that hope and change working for you?

Or come to the "coast" and hook up with local divers for some of the best wreck diving in the world!

Appreciate the feedback... I'm only going to be there for 5 or 6 days, and most of those will be taken up with 'family obligations' getting ready for the wedding. I'd love to make it to Lake Wazee but I think I'll be pushing things taking my gear for a quarry dive. Keep those tips coming, though, I need all the help I can get.
