Hello all, I bought this case for my phone a few months ago and it held up great. Including the truck that ran over my phone when it fell out at the gas station and got run over. The case is still perfectly good, but the phone deformed around the belt clip of the holster that it was in and therefore is total junk now. Hence me selling the case.
It comes with the original box, the soft silicone case that goes into the hard shell, the hard shell as well, the screen cover installation card and a small microfiber cloth to clean it with. The case is in great shape, has a couple scratches from me dropping the phone but otherwise is fine.
Bought it new for $70, looking to get $30 shipped in US for it.
Alas i am now compelled to buy this albeit being costly but i have no other option than otterbox and i hope i could by it at low cost frm you as compared to other retailers here in UK. Well im unsure will it fit my sis's bb 8520? I would also like to know is it still available? Currently im in UK, Maidenhead (my sister-in-law is currently in Ohio so i would contact them to buy it for me so delivery wont be a problem) and how much would it cost me round bout including extra delivery charges? My sister is presently using two cases which includes crystal clear and silicon case for her bb phone which i gifted her on her b'thday last mnth however both these cases are not capable enough in protecting the phone. The Clear case is transparent, to some extent proves useful as it's transparency glows her phone's purple texture pretty well making her phone look more attractive while shielding it.
However the problem with it is its sleek, transparent and slippy body that often makes her to drop her phone (she is getting too annoyed with it) which eventually resulted into hard bruises on her phone's surface.Now black silicon case to her it makes the phone look completely dumb and bulky. No doubt the cover gets tightly fitted to her which i have seen myself however i too felt still it is not a reliable case. Well I am not saying silicon case is useless and so far it has protected her phone well from scratches and dirt, but she has to compromise other sensitive parts like screen and keypad. Moreover the bottom edge comes up too close to the space bar on the keyboard and gets in the way. Like other expensive blackberry curve cases from either from otterbox or griffin it is not at all reliable coz it is not able to protect sensitive parts of the phone like screen and keyboard i mentioned above.
Even i would have bought it for her but they are so expensive as compared to either silicon or crystal case and to be frank i cant afford too much just to protect a phone (or else i would i have sold the phone itself and would have bought a brand new iphone 4 for her).
