    Here a picture I took in Cayman. Any idea what it is?

    It was about 4 inches long and was moving

    A scale worm of some sort maybe? How about some kind of mantis shrimp? Do you have any more pictures of it?

    It appears to be a small species of mantis shrimp. The points on the carapace are very interesting and should help pinpoint which species.

    No, it's not any type of worm. How was it moving? On it's own or with the current? Because to me it looks like a seed pod or type of vegetation.

    I agree I looked at the worms and it did not look or move like a worm. There were little arma at the left end that were moving. The whole creature stayed still while we were looking at it.
