Can't find the fish in the attached file in our Reef Fish Identification book.

I also believe it's a coney. Google 'Coney fish' and look at the Images section; you'll see a number of them with that patterning.

I think Coneys, Hinds, Graysby, and Tiger Grouper are awesome to see.

Never actually took one or 'et one, but they sure chomp them in the Bahamas and the Turks.
 
Yep, coney. A copy of Humann and deLoach's Reef Fish Identification for that region would be very helpful for you.
