What are these Lilttle Cayman Critters

This first one we found in the sand and cannot find it in our Reef Fish Identification Book. It is about the diameter of a garden eel, but it is definitely a fish

This other picture looks like eggs of some kind.... No idea what this is. The entire egg thing is no more than 2 inches long.

Anyone know what one or both of these things are?
 
1. the first looks like a Pike Blenny, dorsal fin retracted

2.it looks like a flabellina dushia, not an egg case. a small nudibranch
