Hello all!

I do my OW dives next weekend and need a photo for my PADI card. Can I take the pic myself if it is printed on photo-quality paper? (I have a good photoprinter also)

Also, can anyone verify the dimensions of the photo? I assume as about the same as a passport shot.

Thanks for any input!

Greg

You can send by email to your Instructor for the registration

The dimension is 1 3/4 x 2 1/4.

Used to be at most shops you would have to get them a photo

You dont need to print it.

Registration is done online.

So just provide a high resolution picture to your instructor.

I dont know the dimensions of the picture.

yeah. when I used to mail in the cards I would take a picture, crop it and print 4 pics on one piece of paper. One for the card, one for the file and two spares . Works great

I just did mine at www.padi.com and it was $35 for a new style card and you just email them your photo.

There are still shops out there that don't/can't do it online, check with the shop first.

A dive shop that doesn't have a computer with an online connection.

WOW dark ages.

I went to a little island before. The dive shop had a laptop and a sat link for internet.
