    Curacao

    Hello All;

    I am going for a dive trip to Curacao next week, staying at the Marriott.

    For you guys that have been there is it necessary to rent a car? or taxi cabs are easy to get?

    Thanks

    Def you should rent a vehicle but not a car, the small 4dr diesel trucks you can rent are perfect for diving. Makes loading and unloading your wet gear so much easier.

    well that depends if they're shore diving on their own or not, which they're probably not if they're asking this.

    It's easy to get a cab at the Marriott.

    When I was there...we never had a problem getting a cab...after a few rides we started to try and get the big van types...they frequently picked up other passengers along our route and the more they picked up the cheaper our fair was!
