Hey everyone. I'm 15 and recently got my scuba certification and an increased scuba addiction. I would love to get more dives under my belt and some more certifications. I was wondering if there are any scuba camps or some sort of organization I can go with during the summer to get more experience and also see some neat dive sites. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would love to travel and do something unique with my summer. Thanks!
Welcome to the underwater world and do a google search on SCUBA Camps you find a number of them in the Caribbean and the Bahamas! Good luck and dive a lot!

I assume you live in the north or some other non-diving area? Providing some profile information is helpfull when soliciting advise. That way some certifications such as nitrox can be recommended locally before launching off to such endevors. Try sending Speargirl (Key Largo travel agent & Scubaboard regular) a personal message with the inquiry. She has sons your age. I bet she would have some good ideas. Good luck and have fun!

Well, at 15 years of age you probably don't have the finances as well as the freedom to just get up and jump in a plane and head towards a popular dive destination..
Perhaps there's a local dive shop in town that arranges group trips, and you can get your parents to meet those folks and determine if it's a reasonable thing for you to do.
Hi…we offer sailing and diving leadership programs down in the Caribbean. It is great that you just got certified as that means you are eligible for our Underwater Discoveries Advanced program. Which is perfect if you're focused on taking the next steps to advance your diving. On this program you would earn your PADI Advanced Open Water, EFRI and Rescue Diver…all in only 21 days while living on a boat and cruising around to the best dive sites of the Leeward islands. Let me know if you want more info or you could visit the Broadreach site to check it out: gobroadreach.com.
Thanks for the advice everyone. After trying to research all of your suggestions, Broadreach (gobroadreach.com) really caught my eye. They have some pretty awesome programs...now I just have to convince my parents that it is a good idea! Thanks again for the input.
