    The best time to do a weight check is after the dive is over as your tank is empty.

    It is recommended that you do a weight check with 500lbs or less in the tank.

    As you have received several long winded explanations I will assume you know how to do this.

    Excellent suggestion. And thanks RonFrank for your input too. I (we) do know how to properly check for neutral buoyancy, just questioning the best way to do it without disturbing you experienced folks. You guys rock!
