Well, it’s done. I got certified last week in Oahu, Hawaii.
I want to thank of the people on ScubaBoard for all of their help in answering my questions and for asking all of those questions I didn’t know enough to ask.
The dive op I used was Aquazone. You can view my impressions of Aquazone in the Hawai'i O'Hana section of ScubaBoard.
Thanks again for all your help.
Congratulations, Heffey! I surely hope you will continue on. Now you are about to embark on REAL diving in Canada.
I got certified in Cancun last Nov. Quite a bit of difference up here! But water is water, eh?

My instructor is a NAUI and a PADI instructor so I got him to give me a PADI referral for my dive in Hawaii. I will still do my open water dives with him in a few weeks and get my NAUI certification and some cold water experience.

I'm glad to hear that you're following up with the cold water cert dives. It can't help but make you a better and safer local diver. Congratulations!
