    Maine Diving and Marine Research

    Hi all,
I was wondering if there are divers in Maine who are on here, and I'm wondering if anyone is doing research or video projects here in Maine.

    Regards,

I dive the Eastport/Lubec area in the summer and fall. We own a summer home in Lubec close to New England's finest diving off Eastport.

I don't do research or shoot video. I have been photographing the local marine invertebrates (mostly nudibranchs) in hopes of capturing on film the entire spectrum of life in the area.

    Hi Alan,
Great to hear from you! I hope there are other people who either live in Maine or come up here to dive during the summer who are interested in Maine stuff.

    Hi Mark!

My husband and I will be diving in the area for the first time, hopefully in another month. He is very interested in learning everything about under water photography, and I am interested in learning about anything and everything that breathes under water.

We are looking forward to making some new dive buddies. Maybe we can get together........

    Happy diving, Sue

    new to Maine diving

I recently moved to the Ellsworth area and am looking for any info on local dive sites... especially any lake or quarry dives in the area. Hopefully I'll get a few dives in this summer.
