I did two dives at the Fort with a buddy of mine, one east cove, one west cove. Water was very calm. Visibility was variable but usually around 5-10ft. Water at the bottom is still a little chilly at 57 degrees F.
There were far fewer divers than normal in the morning (no dive classes due to the holiday I guess).
I believe Beavertail at high tide will be a bit better vis since its mostly a rocky dive thru a few small canyons. Looks like you had 2 doable dives and its great when the vis isnt just 5ft at the FT
