My partner and I are heading up to "Dive the Five" straight after New Year, we will do Lake Taupo on the way up and Goat Island on the way home again.
We do have a couple of days in hand after all the charters we have booked.
Am sure there are shore dives there which will be worth the effort. We will be staying in Pahia after completing the "Five" and am happy to drive a bit to get a couple of dives in.
I take a camera with me (note I do NOT call myself a photographer) so dont mind long shallow dives. Hunting is not a priority as the freezer will be full of cray and scallops before Xmas
Anything folks would recommend NOT missing?
Poor Knights, Tui, Waikato, Canterbury and Rainbow Warrior. Dive Tutukaka arrange package deals.
Family commitments meant the arranged trip didnt happen but we will do it some time this year
