I was recently given a BNIB Nikonos SB-105 strobe. Is there anyway to jerry-rig this strobe to make it work with a housing such as the PT-EP03, which syncs the strobe optically via optical fiber? If not, I may have to put up the SB-105 for sale...
Will it slave to a preflash with proper sync? I wasn't sure, that's why I suggested the remote triggers. It's also possible that the EPL-1 has a slave mode that kills the preflash. My SP-350's do.

After checking online, it appears it does have a single flash slave setting, with 1/2, 1/4, 1/16 & 1/64 available. This should allow slaving with the SB-105.

The SB-105 has Full, 1/4, and 1/16 power. Adm. Linda has several SB-105s.
