Let’s do the ten best scifi/fantasy series (can’t go with 5)

Try not to repeat what's gone before, let's all discover some new series, not just agree on what's great.
    1. Tolkien
    2. Dune
    3. Amber
    4. Earthsea
    5. 2001, Lost Worlds of 2001, 2010, 2061, 3001
    6. Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser
    7. Thieves World
    8. Elric
    9. Dorsai
    10. Deathworld

Well. if TV is included, you'd have to add the wonderful, wacky Dr. Who series. But Thalassamania has to answer that question- it's his thread, after all!
