Whether or not you support the idea of a boycott, Chai's story brings out a serious potential hazard from a seemingly innocuous dog toy.

If your dogs have these toys, you may want to either remove them from the dog's play area, or else drill a small vent hole on the opposite side of the ball to eliminate the suction potential. As much as dogs rely on their tongues for such essential things as drinking and body temperature regulation, it's important to protect them.
