I was sitting in my chair reading the post about slow ascents and out of the corner of my eye I notice something move. I looked over and coming up the wall beside my desk is a very large wood spider, about the size of a fifty-cent piece. I think to myself, just put him outside. So I casually pick up an envelope and place it in front of him thinking he will walk onto it. Well, he stopped. So I picked up the UPS slip and placed it behind him thinking he would move forward onto the envelope. Well, he began to run. He ran on to the envelope so I quickly moved it and turned toward the door. My chair is between me and the corner of my desk facing the door. As I turned around he jumped and landed on my arm. I immediately flinched and he flew onto the back of my chair. I thought I could roll the chair over to the door but as I did he jumped to the floor and I almost ran over him with the wheel. Now my effort to save this spider is turning really bad. He ran across the floor and I tell him, "Look, I am trying to save your a$$. Don't make me regret it." Talking to a spider? Yeah. I am questioning myself. I managed to get him on the envelope once more and toss him out the door onto the flower pot but my skin is still crawling from his flying leap onto my arm. I am not usually scared of "bugs" but when they attack that's another story. LOL R

Friday night - actually early Saturday morning, while here on the board, I had a large spider crawl from under my monitor & onto the screen. He was large, hairy & a little intimidating. I captured him in a glass & gave him a burial at sea.
You guys...the knowledge on the Scuba Board just blows my mind. You always know what is right.
Maybe I should go try to find him and bring him back.
Does this apply to the bird we rescued from out of the wall a couple weeks ago? Or should I say evicted?
I can tell you this. He might have started out to be the size of a fifty-cent piece but when he hit my arm I am sure that he wa six inches across with three foot legs. LOL R

RavenC once bubbled... I thought I was saving him.

So now that bird you freed is feeding on the spider you evicted. I have no problem with spiders. Frogs on the other hand............
