...a brisket! Can't go diving so I 'm doing the next best thing. Drinking some Colorado Kool-aide and enjoying the smell of seasoned beef and hickory smoke. Trying out a new dry rub with brown sugar, paprika, oregano, salt, garlic and onion powder. Injected the brisket with a mixture of the rub and cider vinegar. We'll see how it tastes! Anyone willing to share their BBQ secrets?

I'm debating on putting sweet baby ray's honey BBQ sauce as a baste before I take it off
 
If you do that let it steep in the sauce for an hour wrapped in foil on the smoker. The sauce will caramelize on the meat and finish the flavor perfectly. I do that with my smoked ribs all the time.
