Fortunately very few divers are civil aviation and tourism minister in Afganistan..... 
I heard, the guy delayed the flight to Mecca, so that his own flight could proceed. Weird guys :weirdo: those Muslim pilgrims.....

I work for Delta Air Lines, and it amazes me that it does not happen in this country. I used to work as a "Red Coat" for Delta. If you have ever flown, you know what I am talking about. The folks in the red blazers that are suppsoed to deal with all of the pissed off people. Well, let me just say that I am glad that I am in aircraft maintenance now. I had people that told me they would kill me if they saw me outside of work, I have had people tell me they would drag me outside and kick my arse, I have had people threaten to shoot me, etc etc etc. I have had to remove people forcefully off of aircraft on more than one occasion. I even had to throw a man to the floor for trying to attack an agent after he said he had cocaine and a bomb in his bag. Apparently, he did not think his joke was funny anymore after picked up the phone to call the police. I have even removed my coat and escorted a gentlemen to the door when he told me he would meet me outide. Needless to say, he apologized. I have seen agents spit on, hit, pushed, choked, and thrown into the wall. People are idiots.

Why do I now feel a tad worried at the fact I just got a job on an airline !!!!

There have been a few time, if I could have gotten a hold of the person delaying my flight I would have killed them.
BTW, be nice to the captain and crew and the ticket people, they are not the cause of your flight being delayed, cancelled.

I wonder what the perks of the Job are?
1) Getting to die before the average age of an Afghanistani of 37 I think?
2) All the free lead you need for diving (must be removed from holes in wall, but it's free
3) Ability to walk outside and know that you may not have a red target painted on you but that's okay, they bad guys are willing to go in the plane to get you anyway
4) The chance to be on the ground floor of the rebuilding of Afghanistan (simply because all the buildings are ground floor now)
5) Now on the to good stuff, the chance to get a raise in your job, the money is there if they hoard it all and don't help the poor people of afghanistan
6) Chance to get a house at a good price, of course most of them are very holey in nature so you'll need a good supply of spackle
Seriously, this is a tragedy that so many people who had little or nothing to begin with are now even worse off, and those responsible are still on the lose living on the funds that should have been going to help them!
